In Zukunft sollen autonome mobile Roboter dazu eingesetzt werden, diese großformatigen Maschinen direkt am Bestimmungsort zu montieren bzw. zu fertigen. Hierzu ist die Zusammenarbeit mehrerer unterschiedlicher mobiler Robotereinheiten in verschiedenen Größen erforderlich.
