The portal for technology transfer offices at universities in Lower Saxony, ‘Wissen hoch N’ (Knowledge up N), has published a double issue on research projects on the topic of artificial intelligence and its consequences for society. This double issue also includes an article on the doctoral projects of Dr. Tom Bleckmann and André Meyer from the Physics Didactics Working Group. As part of the ‘LernMINT – data-supported teaching in STEM subjects’ graduate college funded by the Lower Saxony Ministry of Science and Culture, Tom and André are developing the Intelligent Physics Trainer (IPT) digital learning platform. IPT uses AI technologies to provide individual support to teachers and learners in physics lessons.
