Design and analysis of an unusual curve sketching exercise for first year teacher students
Abstract
This paper intends to show how certain theoretical elements and tools of the Anthropological Theory of the Didactic (ATD) can be used in the development of exercises that address specific mathematical difficulties if students at the transition from school to university and in a subsequent analysis of student solutions.
